Casa de Dios UMC Ministry was born as part of the vision of Pastors Olga and Alexis Gonzalez to reach Hispanics in Syracuse. On Friday December 6, 2013 the Jandy Restaurant opened its doors for the first meetings; Migdalia, its owner, and Doña Maria, her mother, are members of the Gonzalez family, Puerto Ricans of Origin, who to this day, together with other family members, support the ministry. to continue the meetings there. Initially the vision was to work in small groups in homes in different houses, and to meet on Sundays; the mystery began to grow, brothers from various nations arriving who have been a great blessing to us; many continue and another that moved to other states of the nation. In June 2014, Pastor Jose Luis Rodriguez arrives to work at the Upper New York conference as Co-director of the NCF and together with pastors Olga and Alexis, they further structured the leadership while the nascent churches were baptized and received the first members of the ministry. . In 2015 emigrating from Cuba, the family of Rev Jose is completed with Yudith his wife and Grabiel and Ruth his children who have been a blessing to Casa De Dios UMC.
