Let mutual love continue.
(Hebrews 13:1)
Just as God loves us consistently, it is important that we love our brothers and sisters in Christ. Sometimes we show compassion to strangers but neglect to care for our closest friends.
There are times when it's necessary to cry because of sadness, and other times when we should smile during moments of joy (Romans 12:15). This support can be expressed by taking time to listen, pray, or even offer advice. Fraternal love keeps us united, and where two or three are gathered in Jesus' name, He is present (Matthew 18:20).
Invest time and love into your friends. Jesus, our best friend, gave His life to save us. Dedicate yours to fraternal love.
Cultivate fraternal love:
Stay in regular contact with your friends. Be approachable and available.
Pay attention to the details, and show your willingness to help your brothers and sisters.
Encourage your friends to dedicate themselves to God. Effort in faith brings unity.
To pray:
Lord, use me as an instrument in Your hands. May my life be a channel of blessing for my brothers and sisters. Equip me to help more and more. Amen.
